BCS Post-Mortem
Today is a travel day for Red and family so I’ll have much more later tonight and tomorrow. My initial response is that the better team won on Monday night. The game wasn’t about speed or conference superiority or any kind of hyperbole, LSU simply made more plays than Ohio State did. And had been the case several times during the season, Ohio State became their biggest opponent in the turnover department. Congratulations to the mad hatter and the LSU Tigers for becoming the first two-time BCS Champion and congratulations to the SEC for winning the championship in back-to-back years.
As for all the others- if you’re a Georgia fan this morning crying about this or that- shut up and sit down. The only other team that could possibly lay claim to being a victim of a BCS crime is USC, but USC lost to Stanford which is in and of itself a crime.
Like I said, we’ll have much, much more in the coming 48 hours so check back in.
