April Fools’ Day

April 1st, 2008 by Red Renee

Some of the best pranks surfacing today including Virgin Blue Airlines who ran newspaper ads stating passengers willing to stand would receive half-price fares and Pizza Hut renaming themselves to Pasta Hut.

Courtesy of Wikipedia, some of the best April Fools’ gags ever, including my personal favorite- an article in the April 1998 newsletter of New Mexicans for Science and Reason which contained an article claiming that the Alabama Legislature had voted to change the value of the mathematical constant pi to the “Biblical value” of 3.0. Good stuff.
