The Ocho
Oklahoma and Texas Tech moving in different directions this week. No controversy here- if the season were to end today, this would be the first round Ocho match ups:
#8 Utah @ #1 Florida
#7 Penn State @ #2 Oklahoma
#6 Texas Tech @ #3 Texas
#5 Alabama @ #4 USC
That’s our idea of a perfect regular season and post-season. The non-BCS participant having to play in the Swamp for the right to move on. Penn State having to go to Norman to defend the Big Ten’s Honor (what’s left of it). A re-match with Tech and UT, this time in Austin. ‘Bama having to play USC at home.
What do you know- no worries about which Big XII team gets in- they’re all there. No silliness with an ACC or Big East participant. And a true champion declared at the end of it all.
You’re welcome.

Obama is largely powerless to stop it though; if he had said he opposed it, many in NYC, especially in Manhattan (the opposition is primarily in the outer boroughs) would have seen it as an unwanted intrusion into local issues.
