Dear Diary…
Maurice Clarett & Octomom. That’s what we in the writin’ business call a teaser.
If you’re running low on your psychotropic medication today, a quick read of either of these should do the trick.
Nothing like a couple of years in the state pen to provide perspective. Former Ohio State Running Back Maurice Clarett is apparently gaining perspective after some early mistakes as a youngster. We look to that not with a eye of skepticism but rather hope that he really is and maybe someday can effectively turn his life around. In his latest post at “The Mind of Maurice Clarett“, Mo offers some advice for liberals of all people (at least that’s how I read it). He writes:
“I read The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Economist, and other popular publications and they are all riddled with stories of people’s pain. True enough, things are bad. Your mortgage may be behind and you may have to downgrade your home. You may not be able to afford the vehicle you want. You may not be able to afford the clothing, vacation retreat, or other personal luxuries you wish for. You may be humiliated from it all. Please realize this though; there are people in positions that do not have a mortgage to be delinquent on. There are people with no car to miss a payment on. There are those who have never been on vacation. Then there are people who are physically handicapped and cannot drive a car to the airport with hopes of getting on a plane to go run upon the sandy beaches. Keep it all in perspective. Life is too short to complain and focus on all that is going wrong.”
To the darker side of the blog world, the Octomom is doing a vlog all this week at Radaronline.com. If you dare, take a gander at her latest entry here where she displays her parenting prowess for all the world to see.
You’re welcome.
