MSNBC Daytime: Sluttier than ever!
Unfortunately, this is what passes for anchor work on MSNBC these days. Contessa Brewer, in a very inappropriate and personal manner, strongly defends David Letterman’s comments last week about Sarah Palin and her daughter.
Brewer references her own public experience of being called a slut in the clip- evidence of which I can’t find anywhere on the internet. The only item I could pull up was a semi-public feud between Ms. Brewer and Don Imus, where Imus referred to Brewer as, among other things, a “skank”.
I don’t have a thesaurus handy but I’m willing to bet “slut” and “skank” are of the same etymology. But boy Contessa thinks a lot of herself- comparing her “scenario” as a former news reader for Don Imus to a sitting Governor that was on the Republican ticket as candidate for Vice President of the United States. Yep- that’s the same.
You’d think of all the people in the media, Contessa Brewer would be most sympathetic to Sarah Palin’s experience given her similar (not the same) experience. I suppose skanks don’t feel sympathy though. Oh snap.
You’re welcome.
